Line Kjær is head of ANDERSEN KAER’s Customs and Global Trade practice.
Line has dealt with indirect tax and international trade in goods for more than 20 years advising Danish and international clients in customs law, VAT, excise duties and trade matters. Line has assisted companies in trade compliance in general and with the implementation of customs procedures, the use of Free Trade Agreements inbound and outbound as well of regimes of non preferential rules of origin.
Furthermore, she has represented clients before the Danish courts and administrative appeal bodies and before the EU Court of Justice in a wide range of trade issues, including e.g. antidumping, classification, preferentiel and non-preferentiel orgin, customs debtor decisions and applicable administrative tradelaw. A substantial part of her client work has concerned customs, cross-border trade and cases that raise questions of principle concerning EU customs law.
Line has been recognized as highly regarded practitioner within the field of indirect tax in World Tax 2026.
Line is associate professor at Aarhus University and Copenhagen Business School (CBS) lecturing customs law.
