Ferah graduated from Leiden University with a master’s degree in both Civil law, focusing on collective (mass) damages claims, and Employment law. During her studies at Leiden University, Ferah attended various extracurricular programs, including the Master Honours Class, gained practical experience at various (large) law firms, worked as a repetitor for the course Civil Procedure and was an editor of the legal faculty journal of Leiden University.
As of 1st May 2019, Ferah joined the International Trade, Customs & Logistics practice group at the Rotterdam law firm Ploum. In particular, she focuses on conducting litigation against Customs and other supervisory authorities and advising clients on issues relating to international trade, food law, product liability and product compliance, commercial contracts, and customs-related matters such as import regulations, anti-dumping measures, origin and tariff classification.
Ferah is fluent in Dutch and English and frequently publishes articles on customs matters, import regulations and (product) compliance.
