Graduate of the Oporto Law School of the Portuguese Catholic University, Sofia is a lawyer and a legal counsel focusing her practice on Customs Law, Tax Law, Administrative law, Environment Law and Oil & Gas.

Before joining our José Rijo Advogados, Sofia worked for 7 years as an Associate in Miranda Correia Amendoeira e Associados, where she concluded the Bar training and acquired relevant experience in several jurisdictions, notably in Angola, Mozambique, S. Tome and Principe, Cape-Verde and Timor.

Sofia is currently attending a post-graduation in European Customs Law at the University of Valencia.
